Naše dlouhodobá dobrovolnice Oceáne nás potěšila prezentací o své rodné zemi Belgii. Díky její prezentaci se návštěvníci dozvěděli nejen důležité fakty, ale zároveň nás překvapila kulturními zajímavostmi v oblasti hudby, umění i historii. Samozřejmě nezapomněla na ochutnávku typické belgické kuchyně, nechyběly ani všem známé Belgické wafle. Měli jsem dokonce možnost naučit se pár frází v třech jazicích, kterými se v Belgii mluví. 

Ačkoli  Belgie není ten nejvzdálenější soused, rozhodně jsme se díky Oceáne dozvěděli dost zajímavých informací, které spoustu návštěvníků překvapilo. 

Oceáne k nám přijela o něco později, ale i přesto se začlenila velmi rychle a všichni jsme rádi, že se rozhodla zapojit se do programu European Solidarity Corps a obohatit naši organizaci. 

Our long-term volunteer Oceáne delighted us with a presentation about her home country, Belgium. Thanks to her presentation, visitors learned not only important facts but were also surprised by cultural insights in the areas of music, art, and history. Of course, she didn’t forget to include a tasting of typical Belgian cuisine, and the famous Belgian waffles were not missing. We even had the chance to learn a few phrases in the three languages spoken in Belgium.

Although Belgium is not the most distant neighbor, we certainly learned a lot of interesting and surprising information thanks to Oceáne.

Oceáne joined us a bit later than the others, but she integrated very quickly, and we are all happy that she decided to take part in the European Solidarity Corps and enrich our organization.
